MY faith

I am a born again, Bible believing Christian. I believe the Bible to be God's Word. Infallible, inerrant, fully authoritative, fully sufficient. No other books or rules need be added.
I believe we have one Mediator (Jesus Christ) who was fully God & fully man. His death and resurrection was sufficient as full payment for our sins. Through Christ's death and resurrection, we are able to freely come to the Father at any time and bring our praises and requests to Him. We have been set free from guilt, shame, and works based faith because of Christ! (John 8:36, 2 Corinthians 3:17)
We have free forgiveness and mercy offered when we accept that gift of salvation. (Romans 6:23) His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Works will not save you. Christ Jesus saves. Not of ourselves, but a gift offered freely. (Eph 2:8‭-9)

AND MAKE HIM KNOWN

TO KNOW HIM

With anything in life, we should always be holding it up to the lens of God’s Word. Does this align with what Scripture says? With what the Holy Spirit is leading me to do? There are many diluted gospels, and many false ones. The Word of God is our constant.

In Deuteronomy 6, Moses addresses the Israelites with this: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.”

There are many humans today who are wise in their own eyes. But the Bible is clear – the wisdom of the world is foolishness to God. (1 Corinthians 3:19), and the message of the Cross is foolishness to those who are perishing. BUT to us who are being saved, it is the power of God. (1 Cor 1:18)

Praise the Lord!

FAITH

AS IT RELATES TO HEALTH

PARSONS-16.jpg

We shouldn’t be surprised that obedience to God’s commandments will promote health. As our Creator, He knows what’s best for us. God, who is also called the Great Physician, knows everything about us, and He’s provided the necessary keys to good health.

Make no mistake, health originated with God. We are so intricately and intelligently made and, as a general statement, our society has completely forgotten or rejected this to be true. When we obey God and seek His will for our life, we operate in accordance with His instruction. And when we are operating in accordance with Him, it will result in a life glorifying to the Lord.
