Do not let Familiarity to breed Neglect

Happy resurrection Sunday! We celebrated our risen Saviour this morning with church family, and I loved this part the speaker shared so much: do not let familiarity breed neglect. Meaning - there are so many accounts in Scripture we hear starting at an early age. Bible stories that are memorized and read over and over.

As we grow in our relationship with the Lord, it can be easy to skim or completely skip past these passages. Oh what we miss if we do that! Hebrews tells us that the Word of God is LIVING & ACTIVE. Even scripture that we know like the back of our hand will continue to produce fruit into our old age each time we read it.

Don't miss the absolute wonder & power that is the resurrection of Christ. Because if the story ended at the Cross, our faith is useless.

"Because He lives, I can face tomorrow

Because He lives, all fear is gone

Because I know He holds the future

And life is worth the living just because He lives!"
