Tummy Troubles

Whenever my kiddos complain of stomach pain, this is my go to. They even ask for it now because they know it helps! It is a natural alternative to pharmaceuticals like pepto bismol, imodium, mylanta, & pepcid.

Ginger oil is extracted from the rhizome, or underground stem, of the ginger plant. It has a very distinct aroma that is strong and spicy.

Its detoxifying and digestive properties facilitate the elimination of toxins and boosts digestion. It can help with gas, bloating, nausea, stomach aches, constipation, diarrhea, and even PMS cramps.

Here's how I apply to my kiddos:

Use carrier oil of choice (we love this fractionated coconut oil one) and pump 2 pumps (about 1 tbsp) into your hand. Pour 2-3 drops of ginger oil (I like many brands - @youngliving, @doterra, @planttherapy, @selah_oils, & @edensgardenoils are some of the ones we have) into your hand and rub together, then gently massage in clockwork circles and long strokes along the stomach.
